Part-Time Senior Accountant (Temp‑to‑Hire)

Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 25 hours per week

Compensation: Up to $50/hour, DOE

Employment Type: Temp‑to‑Hire

Location: 100% Onsite OKC

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a part-time, temp-to-hire basis. This role supports the CFO and plays a key role in managing high-volume financial data, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Excel, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across different levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Manage and analyze large volumes of financial data with a high level of accuracy
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs) to support reporting and analysis
• Assist with month-end and ongoing accounting processes
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude while managing multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Senior-level accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Grant or fund accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and across diverse personalities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high data volume
