You will be the vital link between a customers online buying experience to their home delivery, providing an iconic car-buying experience. As a Vehicle Delivery Driver, you will need more than just driving skills. You will be responsible for loading and unloading a customers vehicle, delivering paperwork for signature, and probably the most gratifying part of the process, handing over a set of keys to customers to enjoy their new car!What you will do - Essential ResponsibilitiesOperating a two-car hauler for customer vehicle deliveries. In most states, an additional drivers license, endorsement, or certification is not necessary. See qualifications and requirements for more detailsLoad, transport and off-load CarMax vehicles at various locations to ensure the right vehicle is in the right place at the right time for our CarMax teams and customersFacilitate the completion of Home Delivery transactionsInteract with customers, other associates and team members to provide outstanding internal and external customer service.Perform a brief and guided condition verification for vehicles being transported to a CarMax locationVerify that all vehicles meet CarMaxs cosmetic standards before being delivered to a ply with applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements and CarMax policies related to the operation of a commercial vehicle, including but not limited to thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and hours-of-service requirementsBe part of the team thats driving up standardsWere setting new standards for the auto industry, and that includes the challenges and rewards offered at CarMax. For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
