Southern California - Applicants must reside in and be able to travel locally within the Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Independent Claims Adjuster to join our Southern California team, servicing Los Angeles and surrounding counties. This role involves investigating, evaluating, and adjusting commercial trucking insurance claims from initial loss to final resolution. This is a remote field-based role requiring on-site inspections and in-person client interactions throughout these regions.

Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting investigations, including interviews and recorded statements.
• Performing on-site inspections, including cold calls, scene investigations, and vehicle inspections.
• Making informed claim adjustment recommendations.
• Preparing clear, detailed, and comprehensive reports.
• Maintaining control of a full caseload while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following qualifications and skills are essential:

• Minimum of five (5) years of claims handling experience.
• Strong field investigation and inspection background preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse parties.
• Highly developed analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage travel within assigned areas.
