Supply Chain Specialist (Permanent)

Location: Valley Stream, NY
Schedule: Full-time, onsite (flexible work hours)

Salary: $75-85K
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support sourcing and purchasing activities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This position will play a key role in supplier coordination, cost analysis, and procurement support, with a strong emphasis on Excel-based reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and purchasing activities across assigned product categories
  
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage pricing, availability, lead times, and order fulfillment
  
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data using advanced Excel functions to support decision-making
  
• Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and reconciliation
  
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, planning, and finance teams to ensure supply continuity
  
• Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and purchasing documentation
  
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and cost efficiencies
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain operations
  
• Must have experience in medical and aerospace industries
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills , including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
  
• Ability to work full-time onsite with flexibility in work hours
  

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
