This role is ideal for a versatile hospitality professional who is comfortable both on the floor and behind the bar, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.The On-Call Banquet Server will work closely with the events and food & beverage teams to execute banquet functions from start to finish—providing attentive service, supporting event setup and breakdown, and assisting with beverage service as needed—while upholding Lyle’s culture, mission, and service philosophy.### ### **Who We Are*** We live and breathe heartfelt hospitality, offering polished yet unobtrusive service* We prioritize making every guest feel content, comfortable, and genuinely cared for* We believe in simplicity—calm, intentional, and never dull* We live like locals and strive to be a brilliant neighbor* We thoughtfully anticipate guest needs to create an authentic, warm Lyle experience* We are empathetic, welcoming, and always open* There is truly no place like Lyle### ### **On-Call Banquet Server – Essential Functions*** Set up banquet and event spaces according to specifications and service standards* Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service during events* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as needed* Set up, maintain, and break down bar stations for events* Clear, reset, and maintain tables throughout service* Assist with event breakdown and cleanup* Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously* Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and bar areas* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth event execution### ### **Knowledge, Skills & Experience*** Previous banquet, restaurant, or event experience preferred* Bartending experience required or strongly preferred* Flexible, on-call availability based on business needs* Strong knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills* Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment* Professional, polished demeanor with a guest-first mindset* Commitment to high service standards; Forbes standards knowledge is a plus**Compensation:**$10.00 Per Hour**Benefits**At Lyle Washington DC we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
