Base pay range $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr Job Details Location: Saint Louis, MO Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm About the Role We are seeking a Molecular Research Technician to support our Biomonitoring R&D team in expanding the food pathogen diagnostics portfolio. This role is ideal for candidates with PCR/qPCR experience and strong molecular biology skills who are motivated to contribute to food safety innovation. Key Responsibilities Perform PCR/qPCR assays and molecular biology experiments. Work safely in a BSL-2 laboratory with strict PPE requirements. Apply aseptic technique to handle foodborne pathogens. Assist with studies, background research, and lab maintenance. Document and analyze data, ensuring compliance with GDP. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology). 1–3 years of molecular biology lab experience. Hands-on PCR/qPCR expertise. Experience in BSL-2 labs and food microbiology preferred. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information 2 interview rounds: virtual, then onsite. Pre-employment physical required.
