Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Family Practice Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens Position Overview Join a busy outpatient clinic supporting primary care needs due to staffing shortages, retirements, and internal transitions. This is a high-demand, team-based environment ideal for experienced providers comfortable seeing patients of all ages. Clinical Responsibilities Provide full-scope Family Medicine / Primary Care Treat conditions such as: Colds, flu, acute illnesses Chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, etc.) Must be comfortable seeing all age groups Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC (Health Connect) ⏰ Schedule Monday – Sunday coverage Shift: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM 40 hours/week Rotating every other weekend (with weekday time off) No call required Patient Volume Approx. 3–4 patients per hour Mix of new and follow-up visits Team & Support 5 providers (9a–9p shifts) 4 providers (10a–10p shifts) Collaborative, high-volume clinic setting Compensation Highly competitive market rates (CA locum) Consistent full-time hours ✈️ Travel & malpractice coverage available ✅ Requirements Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) Strong Family Medicine PA may be considered Active California License (Required) Comfortable with all age groups EPIC experience preferred COVID Vaccination Booster required ⏱ Credentialing Estimated 90 days ⭐ Why This Opportunity?
