Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucometer,

• Common drips: Insulin drips, Heparin drips, narcotic drips, paralytic drips, actively titrate vasopressors, sedation drips, cardiac drips, etc.

Required Credentials:

• Traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding

• ASN/BSN

Unit/Facility Details:

• Nurse-Patient Ratios: ICU – 1:1-2, PCU – 1:3-4

• Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts out of 12 (on a 6-week schedule)

• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Floating Requirements: Will float to all ICU at main campus - CCU, MICU, NICU, PCU, CVICU and STICU.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
