JOB SUMMARY
Community Resource Officers assigned to the Magistrate Recovery Court are a member of the Recovery Court Team and work closely with police officers and other Recovery Court Team members to support and carry out the mission of the drug court. Community Resource Officers assist in a variety of ways, including monitoring the program compliance of high-risk recovery court participants such as compliance with court orders, recovery court programming, clinical assessments, screening, verification of education and treatment compliance, abstinence, employment, and responsibility for financial obligations. Community Service Officers must possess excellent communication skills and be efficient in performing duties under stress.
