Urology Associates (UA) in Nashville, TN, is seeking self-motivated, positive, friendly face to join our Care Teams as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working between our Southern Hills and Skyline Offices. Interested candidates for the CMA/LPN/CNA position should be able to multitask with a smile and work well under pressure. We are a Specialist office, but don't stress! We will educate you on everything you need to know about urology and how to give the best patient care possible.

Job Description:

• Input NEW patient information, update EXISTING patient information as patients arrive.
• Phlebotomy/Give injections.
• Maintain clinic flow.
• Room patients.
• Insert/remove catheters.
• Take patient vital signs.
• Assist Provider with procedures and pelvic exams.
• Maintain Log Books (for In Office Pathology, Labs, Stents, etc).
• Call in medication refills (some are able to be done without provider - per protocol).
• Maintain refill faxes.
• Answer and return patient phone calls (Triage, Post OP, general questions)
• Count and Log in-office medications.
• Clean/Autoclave equipment, Cystoscopes, Rooms and Work Spaces.
• Order and unpack supplies for clinical needs.
• Set-up clinic space for use.
• Stock patient rooms and restrooms with needed supplies.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years or more of medical assistant experience is preferred (but not required)
• Urology experience is preferred (but not required)
• A degree, certificate or license in medical assisting or other equivalent training is a requirement for this position
• Phlebotomy Skills preferred
• Experience with EHR systems
• Basic Computer Skills needed, including Outlook and Chrome
