About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to spearhead its enterprise-wide risk management and compliance strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with executive leadership to ensure robust governance and regulatory adherence, developing scalable policies and frameworks aligned with global regulatory requirements, and enhancing organizational resilience through comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies. The CRO will also be tasked with promoting a culture of accountability and risk awareness, mentoring global teams, and overseeing regulatory compliance, including licensing and obligations with authorities. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of leadership experience in risk management or compliance within financial services. Expertise in alternative investments and regulatory environments, particularly U.S. securities regulation, is essential. The role requires a proven ability to design and operate risk frameworks in multi-jurisdictional organizations, as well as professional certifications such as FRM, CRCMP, CFA, CPA, or CAMS. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and team development skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage complex risk scenarios while driving organizational success. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing risk management frameworks, leading regulatory strategy, and ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery planning and incident management.
