Art Solutions & Installations, LLC has provided comprehensive fine art services to galleries, museums, artists, interior designers, auction houses, architects, and private collectors globally for over 20 years. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, our company seeks a detail-oriented, self-starter to serve as an Art Handler for our growing business. This position’s primary responsibility is installing, moving, packing, and handling fine art. Responsibilities Installing and de-installing artwork using proper art handling techniques Handle, load, secure, and transport artwork Prepare/pack artwork for transportation, storage, or shipping Inventory artwork in the warehouse for storage or shipping Review and complete paperwork with great attention to detail Generate detailed condition reports and photo documentation Take direction from the lead installer to complete the desired task Work and communicate directly with clients Occasional travel overnight in and out of state, single and multi-day projects Requirements Minimum one-year experience handling artwork Must be comfortable wearing a mask and being in and out of shared spaces Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Knowledge of various installation methods Knowledge of archival packing materials used to pack artwork Familiar with art history and basic art terminology Specialized involvement and knowledge in handling artwork Professional demeanor in high-pressure situations Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Comfortable on a ladder Follow instructions well and be able to work directly with clients Work well with others and be able to lead projects when necessary Ability to work independently with little direction Be available to travel overnight in and out of state Benefits Health, Vision, and Dental Benefits.
