Accounting Assistant (Part-Time, Temporary)
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid after training)
Assignment Length: Through August/September
Hours: 20-25 hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant for a temporary assignment through August/September in West Tampa. This role is replacing an employee who departed and requires immediate support. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with ERP systems.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday (flexible hours)
Mondays may require extended hours to support timesheet processing
Training: Initially onsite in Tampa
Hybrid Schedule (after training):
Remote: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Onsite (Tampa): Tuesday, Wednesday
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly timesheets for approximately 70 employees
Support Accounts Payable (receiving, coding, and data entry)
Enter journal entries and cash receipts (data entry focused)
Provide light administrative support, including scanning and document management
Qualifications
Prior accounting or administrative experience preferred
Experience working with an ERP system (required)
Familiarity with BST is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
